Last week, Casa Spazio traveled to North Carolina for the 2019 High Point Market furniture show. At this annual event, some of the biggest names in modern furniture come to High Point and showcase their newest and most innovative products. Here are our favorite picks from the show–some of which will be soon be added to our collection here at Casa Spazio!
The Ghost Chair was certainly a highlight of the show. Impressed by its elegant design, the chair is an engineering feat creating a sturdy lounge chair out of a single piece of curved glass. Here is Mike Cao, President and owner of Casa Spazio, enjoying the chair from our new vendor. Be on the look-out for more Fiam products coming to the Casa Spazio showroom in the next few months!
Cattelan never fails to impress us with their dining room furniture, and this year was no exception. The Marathon table features a base made from a combination of shaped wood and metal. This blend of organic and architectural shapes is a unique addition to Cattelan’s family of dining tables.
DellaRobbia’s signature style is characterized by subtle fabrics and geometric shapes, and the Oscar is an excellent example of this design philosophy. Similar to the Felix Sectional, the Oscar features movable arms and backs, so that even a curved sectional can offer the flexibility suitable for any space.
The New York collection from Saba has been a favorite for some time, traditionally featuring sofas, sectionals and lounge chairs. We’re thrilled to see The New York Bed as the newest addition, featuring the same angular shapes and metal base that have defined The New York’s classic style.
Ok—the Geo Lounge Chair by Saba isn’t a new addition this year—but we couldn’t resist showcasing it again! The curvy Geo pairs perfectly alongside the angular features of The New York Bed.
Thank you High Point Market for another great year, and be on the lookout for new products and vendor announcements over the next few months!
